This combination of therapies works together to reduce fatigue, maintain strength and improve your quality of life. We are also here to help you after you are done with your treatments and wonder, “Now what?” We’ll work with you to design your plan for wellness and help you get back to life!

Metabolic Rate Testing - In order to lose weight you must burn more calories than you consume, so metabolic testing will help you determine the calories you burn at rest and, with your activity log, the maximum amount of calories you can consume in a day and still lose weight. This illuminating test measures your metabolic rate which is the number of calories you would burn doing nothing but resting. It takes about 30 minutes to administer and we will give you the results right away. You can then meet with our dietician who can create a plan with you to meet your weight management goals.
Supplements – With all of the conflicting and overwhelming information, it can be difficult to sort out if it is valuable to take supplements or not. Our registered dietitian is very knowledgeable about the optimum use of supplements and will educate you on making good choices for yourself if you decide to explore this area of wellness.

When any illness, injury or disability inhibits a person from effectively or independently performing daily tasks, occupational therapy is used to help regain those functional abilities. The ultimate goal, in occupational therapy, is for you to live a more independent life.
